Best New iPhone App for Video Editing
There are so many new apps out there that we are constantly bombarded with. Some stick, most don't. But I stumbled across a new one by Adobe called Adobe Premier Clip which I've really like. (Ok I really didn't "stumble" across this one - Adobe blared it to me in an email blast...) This new app allows you to create video content with music and titles on your iPhone (and other phones I'm sure) and directly post to the internet. Amazing! I don't have to wait to get home to load everything into Adobe Premier to get a video published. And with my busy schedule sometimes I only have 15 minutes to put something together. If I want to create something while at lunch or sitting waiting for my next appointment I can. And that is awesome in my world! It is easy to use - has both an automatic and manual creation mode. I prefer the manual mode to get control of the final product. You can add music if so desired.
Here's a quick project I did for Memorial Day. Just happened to be in Baton Rouge yesterday on some personal business and it was such a beautiful day out. I wandered close to the riverfront and came across the Korean Memorial Park and the USS Kidd Veterans Museum. Being Memorial Day weekend I decided to get out and walk the park. Giving thanks to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country is something I like to do. In about 15 minutes I was able to gather video and photos for a tribute to this years Memorial Day. It took about 10 minutes editing time as I sat on my couch last night. The only thing I don't like about it is that Adobe puts its signature watermark on the end of your final video. That is promptly edited out by exporting to iMovies on your phone and clipping that off. Thanks but no thanks.
So thumbs up to this new app to get your creative juices flowing again.
Have a great weekend!
