2015: Dream Big!
First - Happy New Year! Hope everyone got thru the New Year's Eve festivities with minimal headaches the next morning! Always nice to roll in the new year. Its a time of year you hear many speak of resolutions and such. Usually fades by week two of January (if not already). Life has a habit of taking over and squashing dreams. Something about having to pay the rent and electric bill next week....
So here's my encouragement for you this week. Think about the one thing you would really like to become - like if you could snap your fingers and poof you were instantly changed into that photographer you always wanted to be. That would be nice - but as we know not realistic. But now you have your dream back in front of your eyes. Grab a piece of paper and write it down. (BTW my
I like one year goals - long enough to get things done, but not too long that you get to procrastinate too much. We all know that we have times in our life that just can't spend working on goals. BUT you need to do something EVERY WEEK on your goals. Read an article, borrow some equipment, take a on line web course. Heck, you really don't need to spend any money on education - YouTube has tons of great stuff if you are lacking on the technical/information side of things.
So I'm really pushing you to 1) Begin dreaming again, 2) write down your goals dreams, and 3) take a few small steps every week toward seeing your dreams come to life.
Nothing like have a life of dreams again that you get to work on! It certainly puts the zing back into your step and makes you want to get out of bed in the morning!
