Reflections of 2014 and pondering 2015
It is hard to believe that the 2014 year is coming to a close and we start looking toward 2015. It was a good year - lots of changes, lots of unknowns but surely blessed with health and a great family.
Thanks to all of you who visit my website. My one goal is to encourage everyone just to get a little better every time you pick up a camera. Keep your own style and just take pictures of what you like! Every mistake you make is just a wealth of information for future successes. And remember, you are just in race with yourself. Endure the hard times and enjoy the fruits of your labor. There will always be a photographer better than you and will always be one worse than you.
Share your knowledge with all who ask. It will come back to you in many different ways and all good. Photography is such a rich medium to be in - part technical, part artistic and part luck! Many people can take photos, but not many can make photos.
A great photo is one that people keep coming back to. If you like a particular photo you make, more than likely many others will like it as well.
So hats off to all of you fellow photographers and viewers as well. May your 2015 be a great year!
